So I have been working. A LOT.

payslip it showed a figure that I couldn't believe really.

Thus with all these feelings

Sometimes it feels as though I'm just living life by
simply going through the motions.

I'm not liking the person I'm starting out to feel..
I get very opinionated, hard-headed and very
offended when things don't go the way I want them to.
It's not who I want to be.

I'm aware of my shortcomings, therefore I am going
to work hard at it to change...

That all aside, I feel lonely some days.
No, lonely doesn't equate to horny.
I see most of my friends are attached, are happily sexing each other.
Or at least they have someone whom they have a storage of
happiness and focus of positive emotions from.
I don't.

Truth be told, I feel so tired of all these.
Like, yeah I am lonely etc but when I come to think about it,
I sometimes feel so bleargh.
Like, I can't stand the drama of texting guys and playing that
waiting for his text game.
Or that sudden increase of heart rate when I see his name on my display.

It's so... dramatic.
So long-winded.
Why can't we just say what we want to each other.
I'm not saying anything.. but I greatly appreciate the
rapport I had with Fir when we were together.
I could tell him anything.
And yeah I guess sometimes it's like too much info kinda thing but
it feels good to be able to share my all with him.

With him, there's not much of the "i want him to know i feel this way but...",
If I'm unhappy or whatsoever, I'll tell him straight.
If i find him annoying, especially during his emo episodes,
I ask him straight.
We hold nothing back.
Including the cybersex.
LOL wtf.

But you get what I mean?
Total honesty between two persons.
Isn't that what it's all about in a relationship?
Or partnership?
Or whatever other ship you sail..?

It feels so hard to connect to someone else
and have total honesty and etc.

That's why despite the loneliness, I prefer that,
than going through the troubling and wearying process
of getting close to someone.

Hello it's been way too long since I jotted down

all the ongoings in my head.

After close to 2 years of working,

I'm finally promoted (:

Yay me!

And in these 2 years, so many seemed to have happened.

From being the girl with many ambitions, to a woman with

very few options in life, to someone with focused career path,

to someone content with being simply happy in life.

Quite a mouthful eh?

I'm grateful to all the people I've made friends with at work.

For all those hectic moments that everyone helped me out to

ensure crisis are averted and to those who had my back when

we weren't awesome enough to avert the particular crisis!

And no, I'm not quitting or something though it does sound like it!

Nah, I'm just sitting here alone at home,

thinking back on the many changes that have occurred in my life.

It seems like nothing really changed yet there are a few things that

(Honestly, I don't even know why I'm updating cos well, no one reads.)

1) My dad nearly died.

My mum called me at 4ish telling me to come out (they sleep outside).

My dad was just laying there, calling out for me.

I was shocked. Stunned, really.

My dad kept saying he's leaving, told me to take care of Mom.

My sleep-induced brain hasn't quite woken up I must say.

I thought I was stuck in a nightmare, until my dad kept calling out for

my sister and his siblings and all.

Reality sank in, this could be it.

Thankfully it was a bad case of Vertigo and Dad got admitted in the

hospital on the 16th April 2011.

All I could think of was that, his birthday cake was still in the fridge.

We just celebrated his 70th birthday, how could he go?

His crying voice still rings in my head on and off. Like now.

I don't think I could ever forget it, even if I wanted to so bad.

2)Fir & I chatted.

LOL yes.

Call it affinity or God's nudge, but Fir actually texted me the very

next day Dad got admitted.

It was surreal, seeing his number on my phone.

I think it's fate.

Cos I don't use my old number all that much, thus I left my phone uncharged.

But on the day my dad was sent to the hospital, I charged the phone before

I left for the hospital.

And Fir texted.

It's like, wow.

3) I miss Nura.

I've read past posts where I wrote I'd rather not have the old Nura.

Well, not the whole of the old Nura.

Not the emo, depressed Nura, atleast.

I want back that Nura who walks with a swagger.

Anyways, my cousin got married last Saturday.

He's my age.

I felt sad for him because, well,

it was an unplanned marriage.

It was a fairly simple wedding ceremony.

And there would be people from the bride's side and the groom's side, yeah?

Well, he didn't have those.

It was simply a buffet at his place and hers.

And then they had the usual "wedding vow" session,

and then it was done.

No grand entrance, no grand exit.

It was just that.

I felt really really sad for my cousin,

we grew up together man.

It just hurts to see the situation turn out this way.

Which, made me think about MY wedding.

I want to get married at Botanic Gardens.

For sure.

I want my gazebo.

It would simply be chairs wrapped in white satin cloth,

lined around the gazebo, in a semi-circle.

The other side of the gazebo would be the dining place.

Buffet style of course.

And quite beautifully, our wedding vows would be done

within the gazebo itself. ♥

This is totally out of the topic, but I'd always fantasized myself

meeting Fir at the gazebo.

I realized that lately I've been extremely quick-tempered.

I get annoyed at anyone and everyone.

I really don't know why.

I don't want to flippantly blame it on PMS cos

deep down I know there are more pressing

issues that repress my happiness.

Lately, many haunting memories kept circling

in my mind.

I am envious of my friend's happiness, truth be told.

But it's more than that.

On my previous posts I mentioned how I don't want

guys to be the center of my life.

Rationally I know that's how it should be, that my

life is my own, I shouldn't let ANY guy have the power

to bring me down totally.

But the past few days, I wasn't just a girl.

I was a girl trying to smile and be positive under

the intense pressure of life and what-could-have-beens.

I was mad at my mom about something so I headed

downstairs to just sit and cool down.

My eyes immediately sought 'our area'.

Intense memories came rushing back to me at once.

My heart-strings tugged at the feelings you brought out in me,

of the faith you had coaxed in me.

And the confusion as to why things just... literally were

just left hanging.

I don't know why I still feel so hung up.

I mean we were barely 'it' to be anything,

yet why does it feel as though I'm missing out

on something now that you're not here?

Is it cos I thought you could be different?

Is it cos I thought I could finally have some

form of commitment, a real one,

not something as tangible as the internet.

In this post, I dedicated it to you.

I was truly cautiously enjoying what we shared.

Thank God for cautious cos if not,

I would definitely be devastated to the

brink of suicidal.

I feel like I'm back in the phase where I was

trying to move on from Fir.

Where I felt so stuck in a rut that I couldn't

breathe, couldn't think, couldn't live.

I don't want to be there - here.

Please God,

I know You set out hardships for us to navigate through

and come out the stronger person.

Well, I'm making positive changes to my life now.

For as long as I lived,

with the exception of the period she worked

at school canteens,

she was always a babysitter.

She took care of several kids,

I do like kids.

signed on with Resorts World Sentosa.

a month since I officially started working under USS.

It's been... a rather interesting experience.

My colleagues are pretty awesome in their own ways

and the workload ain't that difficult really.

We're all the bunch of people who CAN'T

stand the idea of sitting behind the desks.

So in a way or two,

we've found the perfect calibre of people

to work with.

Definitely, there are some work politics.

But not too bad here,
